Workshop Leader

During the Coronavirus Pandemic I am working with Nottingham's, Young Creative awards to create online model making workshops, to keep kids and adult's creative during lockdown. - Video's will go live on 1st Febuary 2021.

Designer / Maker

Working as a set designer and maker, for Tell Tale Hearts 'Blue Bird research and development project', during the November Coronavirus lockdown.

Illustrator

As a designer I entered the research and development process for Tutti Frutti's production of 'Cinderella'. However due to the Coronavirus pandemic the production was cancelled.

Design Associates

Freedom Studios created an app with allowed live theatre to be broadcast across multiple model devices. During an  R and D it was my responsibility to find and dress two locations suitable for two plays ' Number 4' and 'Pasto Thriller'. This took place over a three day time period with a budget of £1000.

2019

Designer / Maker

Working as a Set and Costume Designer for Freedom Studio's brand new touring production of BD Stories. This is a community theatre company touring by a single van, two very different plays 'Number 4' and 'Pasto Thriller'. It will visit multiple Community venues, churches, and schools in and around Bradford. I was given five days to build and construct the set completely by myself, with an overall budget of £500.

Workshop Leader

Running along side of 'Reasons to stay alive' at Sheffield Theatres, I will be delivering a two hour 'Mindful workshop: Create your own world' aimed at people with depression and anxiety; through the art of model making, I will encourage them to explore a story which they wish to tell. Working with a budget of £50

Model Making

Sheffield Theatres has commissioned me to create 1:25 scale model furniture pieces, which will be presented on touring theatre workshops to local schools in and around Sheffield.

Designer

Working with Sheffield Theatres I designed Set and Costumes for the Launch Pad Project. This project allows people with learning disabilities and the Autism community a chance to work in a professional theatre setting to create a devised performance. Budget £1,500

Scenic Artist

During a payed placement at Production Park I worked as a Scenic artist on multiple touring concert sets (I cannot publish the specific shows online). This position involved working within large teams, to tight deadlines.

Set Designer and Maker

Working on a new touring production of 'Letters from the Front' I was given a week to design a set which interacted with animation which was back projected onto a screen. I then went on to construct the set alone, within a two week period and a budget of £500.

Scenic Artist

Working on TV Workshops (Nottingham) 'Wendy and Peter' production as a scenic artist. I was brought onto this project five days before the opening night, and was responsible for all the scenic painting elements.

2018 - 2019

Designer

Working as a set and costume designer, on the Nottingham Playhouse's Neville Studio's Christmas show, which spent one month in house, then continued to tour by a signal van to local schools and hospitals in and around Nottingham. The budget for this show was £2,500.

Exhibitor

After winning the 2016 Creative Writing Category and overall Young Creative of the Year Award (Nottingham), my work was exhibitor-ed in the Nottingham Playhouse and Nottingham Railway Station.

Exhibition / Workshop Volunteer

Volunteering at the  OISTAT@50 convention in Cardiff, gave me access to workshop and lectures from top theatre industry professional across the world.

After winning the Nottingham Playhouse Prize, for my speculative Set and Costume Design of 'The Crucible' my work was then Exhibitor-ed at the New Designers convention in London.

Designer / Maker

Set Designer and maker for the Connections Festival held by the National Theatre. I worked within a budget of £250, with a cast of 30 actors, for the touring production of 'When they Go Low'.

Student Mentor

Taking on the role of Student Mentor at Nottingham Trent University allowed me to gain experience in public speaking and supporting various needs of individual Students.

Props Assistant

Undertaking a placement within the Nottingham Playhouse's props department, working across multiple production including, Cinderella Pantomime, All my Sons, Wrecked and Pride and Prejudice.

Author / Illustrator

After my short story (Impact) won the overall Young Creative of the Year Award in Nottingham, I collaborate with Dayglow LTD to publish a short story book, designed to help people with dyslexia, and visual impairment. 
I have performed multiple book readings across the country at a wide range of events.

Scenic Painting Assistant

Undertaking a six week Scenic Painting Placement with the Nottingham Playhouse, working on Tim Meacock's Design for the Aladdin Pantomime.

Student Ambassador

Working as a Student Ambassador at Nottingham Trent University, it was my responsibility to represent the course to potential students and parents at openings and UCAS events across the country; along with leading tours around the building.
